Custom Pin Production FAQs

What should I know about the pin production process?

Thank you so much for choosing Mover & Shaker for your custom pin production and design! Here’s a little breakdown of how the process works.

Please email nick@moverandshakerco.com your design ideas including quantity, sizing, metal plating, and production style along with any applicable vectorized designs/graphics (.ai or .esp extensions are preferred - your designer should have these available and are necessary for us to begin the process). If you are having difficulty with design ideas, please feel free to browse through our website to reference a style that may work best for your pin.

If you do not have designs already and are looking for design work, no problem, we have in-house designers and would love to help with the process! Please inquire in your initial email that you need custom design work and we will relay our rates.

After we have received your inquiry and design, we will draft a mock up for your approval. Once your mock up has been approved we will send over a formal invoice. After payment we will move them into production which typically runs 21-25 business days. After completion we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information.

Note: We will typically suggest the number of posts on the back of your pin but our general guidelines are that pins below 1” have 1 prong and pins 1” and larger have 2.

How long does it take to produce my pins?

Our production turnaround time varies but generally hovers around 21-25 days plus shipping time. Please take this into account when starting the creative process. If you have strict timelines please let us know and we will try to accommodate them.

What is the minimum custom order quantity?

Our order minimums are typically 100 units.
